Job Description
Position Summary
The Porter/Driver supports operational readiness by maintaining facilities, transporting equipment and apparatus, and ensuring service environments and assets are prepared to meet operational and emergency response needs.
Essential Functions and Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of service facilities and work areas
Safely transport vehicles, equipment, and apparatus in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations
Support loading, unloading, movement, and staging of equipment and materials as needed
Perform routine vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Support operational logistics and workflow needs across service locations
Assist with emergency response, deployment readiness, and operational support activities as required
Maintain compliance with driving, safety, and equipment-use requirements
Support safe working conditions by identifying and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions
Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and operational responsiveness in daily activities
Perform additional operational support duties as assigned based on business needs
Required Qualifications
Safely operate company vehicles requiring a valid Commercial Driver’s License in compliance with applicable laws, safety requirements, and company vehicle-use policies; driving and maintenance of required driving credentials are essential functions of the role.
Ability to travel and stay overnight for up to 10 days as needed.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Ability to manage time, priorities, and responsibilities independently.
Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments.
Preferred Education, Certifications, and/or Experience
High School Diploma / GED

Physical Demands
Ability to safely operate company or commercial vehicles and work in field, shop, yard, or customer locations. This role may require extended driving, entering and exiting vehicles, loading or moving equipment, working outdoors or in varying conditions, maintaining visual awareness, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials consistent with operational needs.

Schedule
5-day Work Week, Monday through Friday
7 AM to 4 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
