IT Engineer Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a IT Engineer Senior based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance enterprise technology solutions within a mission-driven financial services environment.
You will work across applications and infrastructure, contributing to analysis, development, testing, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
The position combines technical problem-solving with close collaboration across IT teams and business stakeholders.
You will help evaluate technology performance, identify risks, strengthen quality, and recommend improvements across the technology stack.
The role also involves working with data, developing test scenarios, maintaining technical standards, and supporting secure and reliable solutions.
You will contribute to emerging technology evaluations and help ensure systems remain aligned with evolving business and operational needs.

Accountabilities
  • Provide ongoing support for enterprise applications and infrastructure technologies, troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather relevant information and data and develop a consistent understanding of product performance, quality, and operational support needs.
  • Contribute accurate and timely estimates for assigned technology work and deliver projects and tasks according to agreed expectations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams on technical tasks, troubleshooting activities, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Evaluate emerging software, infrastructure technologies, and industry developments to help identify opportunities for modernization and future technology improvements.
  • Perform application and infrastructure testing to ensure solutions meet established quality standards, IT requirements, and operational expectations.
  • Build and maintain appropriate test data and support structured testing activities.
  • Ensure applications and infrastructure comply with defined security standards and identify potential technology risks.
  • Analyze and maintain an understanding of the data associated with supported technologies.
  • Identify, document, and communicate technology risks and potential areas for improvement.
  • Help maintain documented processes, technical standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Support additional technology initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant IT experience for candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications and/or infrastructure in a professional IT environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to investigate technical issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Ability to analyze data and use supporting information to evaluate technology performance, quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Experience with application or infrastructure testing and familiarity with IT standards, quality practices, and security requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other internal partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, estimates, deadlines, and support activities.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and understand their potential impact on existing technology environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to document processes, standards, risks, and technical information clearly.
  • Commitment to maintaining secure, reliable, high-quality technology solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment and contribute as part of a collaborative team.
