Description:
Production Castings, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain the overall condition, safety, and functionality of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the building, grounds, utility systems, and facility infrastructure that support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workplace while responding quickly to facility maintenance needs.
Building Maintenance- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the facility structure, including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, and dock equipment.
- Repair and replace locks, door hardware, overhead doors, and building fixtures.
- Complete painting, carpentry, drywall, and general building repairs.
- Maintain office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain facility HVAC systems.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including sinks, toilets, water lines, and fixtures.
- Maintain facility lighting, electrical fixtures, and replace lamps and ballasts.
- Assist with maintaining compressed air, water, and utility distribution systems.
- Support contractors during major utility or facility projects.
- Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, loading docks, fencing, and exterior lighting.
- Perform seasonal grounds maintenance including snow removal, salting, and basic landscaping.
- Ensure dumpsters, recycling areas, and waste storage locations remain organized and accessible.
- Monitor exterior building conditions and identify repair needs.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
- Maintain maintenance logs and work orders using the company's maintenance management system.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Inspect emergency lighting, exit doors, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, and facility safety equipment.
- Assist with facility inspections and corrective actions.
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from departments throughout the facility.
- Assist with office moves, equipment relocation, and installation of facility furnishings.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to facility appearance, safety, and efficiency.
- Experience in building or facility maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot facility-related problems and perform repairs independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when supporting internal departments.
- Commitment to workplace safety and preventative maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training or maintenance certifications are a plus.

Hours
- 40 Hours Weekly
- 7 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday through Friday)
