Overview
Prerequisites:
• Possess or be able to obtain a T4 (Public Trust) clearance or higher
• At least one year of specialized experience in one or more of the following fields:
o 5 years costumer service experience
o 5 years providing administrative support
Excalibur Associates, a veteran-owned security services firm, seeking an experienced ID & Credentialing Specialist to support security administrative services for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). In this role, you will staff the badge and PIV credentialing center, managing access control, enrollment, and visitor processing in a high-security environment
Job Description
Major duties and responsibilities:
• PIV & Badge Processing: Receive, review, and process Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) Personal Identity Verification (PIV) forms and federal ID card requests.
• Enrollment Services: Act as a USAccess Registrar by verifying identity source documents, capturing digital photographs, and collecting biometric data (fingerprints).
• Access Control & Issuance: Issue access badges, visitor passes, and temporary IDs to employees, contractors, and guests after verifying credentials against official identification manuals.
• Data & Accountability: Maintain, update, and audit database records, inventory logs, and badge usage reports daily to ensure zero variation in data accuracy.
• Facility Support (Fort Worth location only): Assist with physically demanding tasks including mail screening operations and the secure destruction of unfit currency or printing plates.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience providing administrative support and high-level customer service, preferably in a security or federal environment.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills (proficiency with multiple worksheets, filtering data, and integrated functions) and an aptitude to learn database programs like USAccess, Identiv Velocity, and EasyLobby.
• Physical Ability: Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to a height of four feet (required for mail screening and destruction duties).
• Communication: Exceptional ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly to interact with government personnel and visitors.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized) or a permanent resident to clear the mandatory agency background check.
Benefits
Base compensation rate: $22-28 per hour, depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
