Job Description
Summary
This position functions as the printing, finishing, and sign production operator. This position is also responsible for vinyl and sign installation along with customer deliveries. The position is responsible for the daily workflow schedule, quality control, and machine maintenance. A very high level of quality is expected from each, as well as meeting and exceeding production standards. The role also includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and clearly understand operation manuals and follow the guidelines set.
- Thoroughly and accurately complete job tickets and manage jobs through the production workflow.
- Assist sales team efforts through supportive workflow management.
- Perform installs and vinyl applications.
- Perform customer deliveries.
- Perform job setups.
- Ability to use ladders, lifts and bucket truck on installs.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Must be able to operate and run department equipment, including print, bindery and sign equipment, as assigned.
- Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Meet production standards set for each job and ensure the highest level of quality is achieved.
- Follow department operational policies and procedures.
- Work in a team environment with other employees to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and departmental goals.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Printing/Finishing/Sign experience a plus, but not necessary. On-the-job training provided.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic math concepts (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical and Working Conditions
The job is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to large equipment, noise, and materials related to the printing process. The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop or kneel.
- Ability to use hands and arms to type, reach, handle or feel.
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
