- Lead the technical architecture and long-term strategy for partnership and embedded platform integrations.
- Design scalable backend systems and reusable integration frameworks that enable rapid onboarding of new partners.
- Build and optimize platform capabilities across identity, cart, checkout, attribution, and orchestration services.
- Define clear API contracts, service boundaries, and technical standards to support reliable and maintainable integrations.
- Collaborate closely with product, mobile, growth, payments, fulfillment, and platform engineering teams to align roadmaps and technical priorities.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives and translate business requirements into actionable technical execution plans.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance across user-facing distributed systems.
- Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and contribute to engineering best practices across teams.
- Partner directly with external engineering teams and stakeholders to support integration success and long-term platform evolution.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with strong expertise in backend or full stack distributed systems.
- Proven experience operating in Staff-level or technical leadership roles within large-scale engineering environments.
- Deep understanding of APIs, distributed architectures, system reliability, observability, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing scalable integration frameworks, partner ecosystems, or multi-tenant platforms.
- Strong knowledge of user-facing systems such as identity, checkout, payments, or cart workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical execution in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with external partners, business teams, or enterprise integrations is highly valued.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within marketplace, logistics, payments, subscriptions, or platform-based technology environments is considered a plus.
