Returns Claims Coordinator

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to set policies and procedures.
  • Is a warehouse environment.
  • Opening/closing return trailers/routes for processing.
  • Verify that the trailer/route has been left as expected of RTG standards.
  • Retrieve manifest from the trailer/route or reprint manifest from DispatchTrack for all return trailers/routes for RTG's check-in process.
  • Ensure all return, exchange and shop pieces are accounted for and checked in.
  • Look for any overloads, cross loads, mis pulls and assure RTG is aware of them and they are accounted for.
  • If any pieces are unaccounted, research as necessary to verify the reason a piece may be missing from the trailer/route.
  • If there is no verified reason why a piece may be missing, sign off to verify with RTG that it is agreed the piece in question was missing. This needs to be done only when the trailer/route is still in the door.
  • Consistently communicate with yard drivers on proper disposition of the trailers/routes, from returns to reprocessing.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience, with moderate Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent Organization and communication skills
  • Detail oriented
