Machine Operator 3rd Shift Metals in Gainesville, Georgia at IMS Gear Georgia, LLC

What You’ll Do

Run CNC machines by loading/unloading parts and making basic adjustments

Inspect parts and take measurements to ensure top-quality production

Keep machines running smoothly with basic maintenance and troubleshooting

Track production, maintain workflow, and communicate issues quickly

Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards (ISO 14001, IATF 16949, 6IMS) and escalate issues as needed

What You Bring

Experience

1–2 years in a manufacturing or machine operator role (3+ years is a plus)

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills

Mechanical mindset with the ability to learn CNC processes

Strong attention to detail and quality

Comfortable reading work instructions and using measurement tools

Basic math, computer skills, and understanding of the metric system

Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to show up and contribute

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing setting with active machinery and production flow

PPE required (safety glasses and safety toe shoes)

Team-focused environment where your work makes a direct impact

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull materials with equipment

Stay active with constant movement, hand use, and standing

Perform occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling
