POSITION SUMMARY

APRNs are integral to the GastroMed team, providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care with an emphasis on prevention, health promotion, and long-term health outcomes.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care, including diagnosing health issues and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Administering medications and evaluating patient responses to treatments
• Consulting within the healthcare team and serving as clinical leaders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Two (2) years of relevant experience
• Acute Care certification preferred
• GI experience preferred
• Current State of Florida ARNP License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the healthcare team

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical clinical tasks
• Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency with electronic medical records, with preference for experience in eClinicalWorks
