Position Summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III – Quality Assurance to support organizational-level maintenance of KC-130 aircraft assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 12 at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

The successful candidate will support maintenance quality assurance activities, conduct inspections, verify compliance with technical requirements, and help ensure maintenance actions meet applicable Navy and Marine Corps aviation standards. This position requires a strong understanding of aviation maintenance procedures, inspection practices, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support quality assurance inspections of aircraft maintenance actions.
• Verify that maintenance is performed in accordance with CNAFINST 4790.2 series, applicable NAVAIR technical publications, and local instructions.
• Inspect completed maintenance actions before presentation to the Government for final inspection and acceptance.
• Verify maintenance documentation and ensure inspection records are traceable to the applicable work task and inspection process.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and support corrective actions.
• Support Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR), and Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) requirements as applicable to assigned qualifications.
• Support NAMP compliance, technical data management, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Assist with the review of maintenance procedures and compliance with applicable technical directives.
• Maintain awareness of aircraft maintenance safety and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel regarding inspection standards and maintenance procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in military aircraft maintenance and quality assurance or inspection activities.
• Working knowledge of aviation maintenance inspection procedures and technical publications.
• Ability to interpret and apply CNAFINST 4790.2 series requirements.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking maintenance discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Ability to review maintenance records and verify compliance with applicable technical requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access credentials and background investigation eligibility.
• Must be able to work the assigned night shift at MCAS Iwakuni.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous KC-130 or KC-130J maintenance experience.
• Previous U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps aviation maintenance experience.
• Current or previous QAR, CDQAR, CDI, or equivalent military inspection qualifications.
• Experience supporting NAMP audits, maintenance program reviews, or quality control activities.
• Experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA and aircraft maintenance documentation systems.

Contract Contingency

This position is contingent upon Resicum International LLC receiving the contract award. Employment and anticipated start dates will be dependent upon contract award and the Government-approved transition and performance schedule.
