What You’ll Do:
- Lead Operations: Oversee daily and long-term operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and to customer satisfaction.
- Inspire Excellence: Motivate and lead the build management team, ensuring leadership behaviours that drive success.
- Strategic Partner: Support the MD in crafting and executing the business strategy to fuel growth.
- Ensure Compliance: Uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all operations.
- Optimise Projects: Keep the project glide updated and ensure timely delivery.
- Resource Management: Research and acquire essential equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
- Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Communicate Effectively: Keep the MD informed with regular updates from the field.
- Champion Culture: Promote a company culture of excellence through effective communication and role modelling.
What You Bring:
- Leadership Prowess: Proven experience in senior operations management within the civils, utilities, or telecoms sectors.
- People Skills: Exceptional ability to motivate teams and set clear performance expectations.
- Strategic Vision: Strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Project Excellence: Demonstrated success in project management and delivery.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with or at Openreach.
- Qualifications: IOSH and / or NRASWA accreditation would be an advantage.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel.
