About This Position
I'm looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Cuppa and a Chapter as an Operations Manager on a part-time basis. Located in the heart of London, England (E1), our cafe offers a cozy environment for book lovers to enjoy a hot beverage and a good read.
As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business. From managing inventory and supplies to coordinating with vendors and handling customer inquiries, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly and efficiently.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate stock
- Implementing and refining operational procedures to improve efficiency
- Liaising with vendors to negotiate prices and terms
- Handling customer feedback and resolving any issues in a timely manner
- Managing a team of baristas and support staff to ensure excellent service
To excel in this role, you'll need to have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Prior experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry is preferred, but not required.
