Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
-
Performs a wide variety of secretarial, clerical and operational support duties for the Oncologist and Cancer Center Staff. Provides coverage for other CCA support staff, as cross-trained, and as needed.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in the use of keyboard and basic computer applications.

Advanced proficiency in the use of wordprocessing software.
-
Proficient in the use of spreadsheet software, and ability to learn to use software specific to Cancer Center.
-
Proficient in preparing correspondence, data entry, records/files maintenance and customer service gained through previous related work experience.

Preferred:
-
Completion of formal training program for Secretaries or Administrative Assistants.

Certified Professional Secretary.
