Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Performs a wide variety of secretarial, clerical and operational support duties for the Oncologist and Cancer Center Staff. Provides coverage for other CCA support staff, as cross-trained, and as needed.
  • EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum Required:
      • High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in the use of keyboard and basic computer applications.
      • Advanced proficiency in the use of wordprocessing software.
      • Proficient in the use of spreadsheet software, and ability to learn to use software specific to Cancer Center.
      • Proficient in preparing correspondence, data entry, records/files maintenance and customer service gained through previous related work experience.
    • Preferred:
      • Completion of formal training program for Secretaries or Administrative Assistants.
      • Certified Professional Secretary.
