About This Position
General Overview
Join our team as a Field Sourcing Coordinator, where you'll be responsible for procuring chili directly from farmers and Sahabat Jiva (local suppliers) in the Jakarta area.
Your primary tasks will include negotiating prices with suppliers, ensuring quality standards through thorough quality checks, and maintaining strong relationships with farmers and suppliers. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of sourcing high-quality chili while supporting local communities.
You'll be reporting to the Field Sourcing Supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilites
- Source chili from local farmers and Sahabat Jiva.
- Negotiate prices and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate transportation logistics.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers.
- Stay informed about market trends and regulations.
General Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Diploma/ Bachelor/ high school degree in agriculture sector is preferred).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct quality checks and ensure product standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of agricultural practices and supply chain management.
- Willingness to be placed in Jabodetabek area.
- Open to frequent travel or mobility requirements / able to ride motorcycle and having active license.
- Willingness to work at evening time.
- Tech savvy - having android mobile phone device.
