Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Provide scientific and technical analysis of technology and concept maturity and readiness assessments of market and research trends to identify potential candidate solutions capability gaps.
• Maximize client’s awareness, understanding, and access of emerging, planned, and current technologies and knowledge-based solutions that support R&D projects and programs.
• Recommend R&D investment opportunities and identify technical and operational enhancements that could lead to pilots, proof-of-concepts, or adoption/transition activities associated with these opportunities.
• Analyze, assess, adapt/adopt, and integrate candidate technologies, processes, knowledge solutions, pilots, or proof-of-concepts from emerging, planned, or currently available solutions into current, emerging, and future information technology (IT) environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering or related disciplines.
• 13 years of experience and a MA/MS degree or in place of a MA/MS degree, an individual must have a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience within a discipline relevant to the work associated with the position
• Secret Clearance Required
