Job Title: Camp Counselor

Our summer camp is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Camp Counselor to join our team. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading campers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and creating a positive and fun environment for all.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead campers in various activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times

- Create a positive and fun environment for campers to learn and grow

- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and other staff members

- Adapt activities as needed

- Follow all camp policies and procedures

- Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

- At least 17 years old

- Ability to work a summer camp schedule

- Experience working with children preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children
