Patient Services/CNO VP at UW Health Northern Illinois – Rockford, Illinois

Serves as the Chief Nursing Executive with Administrative responsibility and authority for the definition of policies, procedures and standards relating to the provision of nursing care for SwedishAmerican Health System (SAHS) and SwedishAmerican Medical Center Belvidere (SAMCB). Communicates and translates policies established by the Board of Directors, President and CEO and Senior Management. Provides coaching and direction to direct reports.

MSN, MBA, MHA or equivalent required. At least five years of clinical experience and ten years of progressive management experience.

Current Registered Nurse Licensure from State of Illinois.

Effective delegation skills. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Excellent communication, organization and critical decision-making skills required. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact, build consensus and mediate differences with all levels of staff within the organization and community. Ability to analyze and interpret business trends and present complex information. Successful completion of annual clinical and job specific competencies including evidence of continuing education.
