Nurse Practitioner (Vietnamese Speaking) in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego County, California at Global Integrated Medical Group

Our mission at Global Integrated Medical Group is to provide mobile medical professionals that do home visits serving the Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego County’s to quickly assess and address the needs of the patients of our home health care and healthcare facility clients. We understand the importance of patients being at home that couldn’t leave because of their condition and being readily available to see patients and being efficient in getting paperwork turned around, so we make every effort to see patients immediately and return paperwork within 24 business hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

Will be a Nurse Practitioner in a mobile medical clinic with services limited to physical assessment, ordering labs/medications, and referral to specialists. Aside from said services, NO other treatments/procedures are offered to patients (i.e. wound care, injections, x-rays). We only accept Medicare insurances.

Essential Functions:

• Visit patients at home care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, board and care facilities, and private homes for assessment if qualified to receive home health services under Medicare guidelines.
• Responsible for the physical face-to-face visits with the patients to assess the patient's needs (Medications, Medical Equipment, Orders/Referrals to Specialists).
• Prescribe medications in compliance with established medical protocols.
• Educate patients on preventive care and health safety issues.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing*
• Professional nurse licensure required
• Current licensure in State and CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or
  organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, e-mail and EMR systems
