Job Description
Microvast is seeking an application engineer to join our team! As an application Engineer, you will be working as a central communication interface for technical aspects between external (customers) and internal (specialist departments), responsible for supporting the projects were used MV standard products.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Technical support of all aspects of battery system application project as well as project management
· Provide technical proposal to new customers
· Coordination of the system interfaces between the individual departments as well as coordination of the same with the customer
· Preparation of technical documentation
· Coordinate with various teams in different locations to improve efficiency of all projects
· Support methodical root cause analysis and resolve non-compliance in part performance
· Handle engineering tools
· Provide technical support to the different teams within the organization
· Support for the commissioning of products internally or at the customer's(on-site or remotely)
· Support and managing prototype
· Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or other relevant engineering field (f/m/d) or a comparable qualification
· Experience in the field of HV battery system
· Ability to understand level of competency of all employees in the engineering groups
· Knowledge about electrical power train
· Several years of experience in the automotive or lithium ion battery industry
· Experience in use of MS Office, engineering analysis Tools (e.g. CANalyzer, Matlab) in a windows-environment
· Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable degree
· Knowledge of requirements management
· Technical experience in the field of lithium-ion battery systems and / or electric vehicle drives
· Knowledge of the methods of advance quality planning / quality assurance in development
· Very good comprehension and analytical thinking skills
· Careful and conscientious, structured and organized way of working
· Team and communication skills
· Bilingual in Chinese is preferred.
