Local Dispatcher for Moving Industry at 1776 Moving & Storage Inc – ORLANDO, Florida

1776 Moving and Storage Inc. has an immediate opening for a Local Dispatcher in the Orlando office. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and share in our commitment to providing excellent service.

Qualifications:

· Must be computer literate

· Must be reliable, dependable and punctual

· Ability to handle stressful situations

· Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to excel in a fast paced work environment

· Knowledge of the Central Florida area

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a 26ft straight truck

· Ideal candidate will have 1 year of forklift operation experience

· Prior dispatching experience a plus, but not necessary

Special Requirements: Must be willing to be available on weekends and after hours during the week if needed. Early morning starts are frequent. This is a hands-on position that requires physical work as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Schedule local moving services efficiently to provide a first class moving experience

· Responsible for the hiring and training of local movers and drivers

· Enforces company policies and ensures standards are being met with movers and drivers

· Handle inbound calls

· Maintain equipment files

· Fill in when necessary as a driver/crew leader

· Assist with warehouse work when needed

· Other miscellaneous duties as needed
