DATTCO is hiring Diesel Mechanics throughout the Northeast.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work
  • Complete paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
  • Perform road service calls as required
  • Follow established technical & administrative processes
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
  • Remain current on technical & regulation requirements

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
  • Training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
  • Driver’s license
  • Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license
  • Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
  • Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
  • Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
