About the role
The Operations Data Analyst supports high-volume logistics operations by delivering data-driven insights that improve throughput, control cost-per-package (CPP), and provide real-time operational visibility. This role develops dashboards, analyzes operational performance, and works directly with operations leadership to optimize labor planning, processing efficiency, and network flow. This role is onsite in New Jersey and will require the candidate to be based in New Jersey and able to commute.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze high-volume operational data including package throughput, scan rates, labor hours, and cost-per-package (CPP).
• Build and maintain real-time operational dashboards that provide visibility into hourly throughput, backlog, dispatch performance, and productivity.
• Monitor inbound shipments, MAWB arrivals, and scan events to identify operational bottlenecks.
• Partner with Operations Managers to track daily KPIs including productivity, induction rates, dispatch timing, and processing capacity.
• Support labor planning and staffing decisions using volume forecasts and productivity analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis on operational delays, backlog, and service disruptions.
• Extract and analyze data from ERP and MIS systems to ensure accurate operational reporting.
• Design automated reporting tools that improve operational transparency and decision making.
• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in operations analytics, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, data modeling, and automation.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboarding tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in fast-paced operational environments.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear operational insights and recommendations.
