Are you a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is passionate about working with seniors? At Quail Park Residences of Visalia Memory Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, respectful, and resident-centered environment. We are seeking a skilled and motivated LVN to join our Health & Wellness team and help ensure our residents receive safe, dignified, and high-quality care every day.
In this role, you will support clinical operations, guide caregiving staff, and help maintain compliance with California RCFE regulations while promoting the highest standards of assisted living and memory care nursing practices.
Position PurposeAssist and ensure that resident care is provided in a safe and effective manner while upholding resident rights, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and following recognized nursing care standards for Memory Care communities.
Minimum QualificationsCurrent LVN License in good standing with State Licensing Authority
Experience with training, mentoring, or team development preferred
Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, electronic documentation)
Ability to monitor resident health conditions and ensure safe care delivery
Effective communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and regulatory agencies
Ability to maintain required Continuing Education credits, CPR Certification, and Food Handlers Card
Must meet all state health clearance requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check
Assist with resident assessments and care planning
Communicate with physicians, families, and care team regarding health concerns
Monitor, document, and respond to changes in resident condition
Perform skilled nursing tasks allowed under RCFE regulations
Support medication management systems and ensure accurate MAR documentation
Monitor weight, nutrition, skin integrity, falls, mobility, and pain management
Maintain healthcare supply inventory
Ensure resident records meet community and regulatory standards
Participate in care conferences as requested
Provide clinical direction to caregiving staff
Mentor and educate team members on proper care procedures
Support performance coaching and training
Assist with caregiver performance feedback
Model professionalism, compassion, and respect in all interactions
Ensure care is delivered with dignity, choice, and safety at all times
Monitor compliance with Title 22, OSHA, and community policies
Attend required meetings and in-services
Uphold Resident Rights at all times
Follow all company policies and service philosophy
Maintain reliable attendance
Assist with pre-admission assessments when needed
Other duties as assigned
Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays required
Local travel may be required for assessments or networking
$30.00 per hour
