Salary Information:

Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Position Summary: The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting recruiting, compliance, and employee experience initiatives across iSpace. This position partners closely with the Director of Human Resources to execute and coordinate core HR functions, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition, compliance reporting, and employee support. This role is well-suited for a highly organized, people-focused professional who enjoys balancing operational HR responsibilities with employee engagement and culture-building efforts in a 100% employee-owned environment.

1. Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support interview processes and candidate selection.
  • Manage recruiting workflows within the applicant tracking system and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Support onboarding preparation for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start.
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives that align with iSpace’s culture, growth goals, and employer brand.

2. HR Operations & Compliance Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and personnel files.
  • Support payroll processes through timecard audits, data entry, and reconciliation support.
  • Assist with required compliance reporting, audits, certifications, and internal tracking.
  • Track and maintain I-9 documentation, employee acknowledgments, and required postings.
  • Support multi-state compliance efforts by assisting with documentation and reporting needs.
  • Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and data requests as needed.

3. Benefits & Employee Support

  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries.
  • Support annual open enrollment activities and related communications.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees with general HR-related questions, escalating as appropriate.
  • Assist with leave tracking and documentation in coordination with the Director of Human Resources.

4. Culture, Engagement & iMpact Team Leadership

  • Serve as the HR chair of iSpace’s iMpact Team, a cross-functional group focused on employee engagement, company culture, community involvement, and strengthening connection across teams and locations.
  • Lead planning and coordination of employee engagement initiatives, volunteer events, recognition programs, and culture-driven activities.
  • Partner with leadership and internal teams to ensure engagement efforts align with iSpace’s core values and employee-owned mindset.
  • Support communication and visibility of iMpact Team initiatives across the organization.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support roles preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems (Paylocity preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Other Skills and Requirements:
