Are you a proven leader in safety and security looking to make a real impact? As the Security and Safety Director, this is your chance to oversee and shape the full scope of safety and security operations at our new facility. In this high-visibility leadership role, you’ll not only protect staff, individuals served, and the community but also drive innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Direct and oversee all safety and security operations for the site.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the safety/security team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Partner with leadership on strategic planning, budget management, and operational priorities.
• Collaborate with internal departments and local authorities on investigations involving security risks such as escapes, disturbances, or thefts.
• Develop, review, and implement safety/security policies, procedures, and emergency operations plans.
• Act as advisor during emergency responses, ensuring preparedness and effective execution.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and accreditation bodies.
• Monitor department systems, staffing, and resources to maximize efficiency without compromising safety.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

• 5+ years in a secure treatment setting, with at least 3 years in management (required)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid state driver’s license (required)
