About This Position

Genumark is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team.

WHO WE ARE

We are an award-winning and rapidly growing company that builds clients’ brands through innovative branded merchandise programs. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Toronto, we now operate seamlessly across North America. Large enough to work with some of North America’s most high-profile brands—and small enough to appreciate the individual contributions that make our success possible—our team is enthusiastic, collaborative, and culture-focused.

We’ve been named a Top 40 Distributor by both ASI and PPAI, recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for multiple consecutive years, and awarded National Distributor of the Year by PPPC more times than we can count. In 2023, we achieved B Corp Certification, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact on both society and the environment.

WHO YOU ARE

Your professional toolbox includes strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, and take pride in building strong supplier relationships.

You’re organized, dependable, and motivated by delivering accurate, timely outcomes. You understand the importance of urgency and deadlines, and you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing sight of quality. You’re adaptable, curious, and confident learning new systems and processes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting multiple inventory-based programs by monitoring stock levels, preparing and executing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory data.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of working a minimum of three days per week in the office, balancing in-person collaboration with flexible remote work.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work with manager to determine purchasing needs and requirements across multiple programs
  • Identify products requiring replenishment and prepare purchase orders accordingly
  • Confirm product quality, pricing, and delivery timelines with suppliers
  • Perform purchasing functions including issuing POs, pricing verification, invoice processing, and payment authorization
  • Create and maintain product SKUs and inventory records
  • Maintain inventory control database and complete regular inventory updates
  • Identify and resolve issues related to product quality, pricing discrepancies, delivery delays, loss, or obsolescence
  • Prepare inventory adjustments and monthly reporting as required
  • Follow up with suppliers, Account Managers, logistics partners, and internal teams via phone and email to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Stay informed on obsolete products and emerging product trends
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business
  • Assist in the Health & Safety program by complying with all health and safety protocols, processes, and policies; and participate in employee training and accident investigations, when required
  • May be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities as set forth above

  • WHAT YOU GET:

We’re not just offering a job—we’re offering a platform for your success.

You’ll work alongside a supportive and talented team, gain exposure to exciting national programs, and build expertise in sourcing and inventory management. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, fun and inclusive office events, and a workplace that genuinely cares about well-being, growth, and belonging.

As for compensation, the range is between $45,000 – $48,000 annually.

Ready to bring your experience, creativity, and passion for service to our team? Apply now.

We can’t wait to meet you.
