As part of the materials team, the Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing the inventory control operations and will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain standard operating procedures to maintain inventory accuracy. This role will report to the Materials Manager.

- Maintain an accurate and organized inventory.
- Work closely with controller to lead and monitor physical inventories, cycle counts, and necessary audits.
- Utilize systems and tools for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting inventory accuracy and material aging.
- Train material handlers and production associates in inventory control best practices
- Create processes and maintain inventory location standards.
- Identify inventory discrepancies, research root cause, and lead efforts to implement demonstrated permanent corrective actions.
- Support the Materials Manager as appropriate through driving department and organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, operation leaders to create more efficient processes.
- Monitor and partner with finance and procurement to reconcile obsolescence, damage, and other non-working inventory opportunities.
- Coordinate material shortage opportunities between procurement and production teams.
- Oversee the disposal of surplus/scrap material.
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of inventory control in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to frequently and repetitively lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, especially MS Excel
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system is highly preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree would be a plus
- Highly motivated, passionate, with exceptional communications skills
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with an ability to manage and set priorities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
