Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Status: Full-time

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Assistant helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs through the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Assistant also reports to the Director of Human Resources who the assistant helps to fulfill their responsibilities. This position also communicates as needed to all employees pertaining to Human Resources related issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Maintaining of employment records in compliance with applicable legal requirements
  2. Responsible for creating and maintaining electronic and manual employment files
  3. Responsible for daily filing of employment related documentation
  4. Responds to written requests for Verification of Employment, (VOE’s)
  5. Assigns Employee Policies and Procedures bundles to new hires
  1. Exhibits proficient use of Human Resources Information Systems, HRIS/ADP
  1. Onboards new hires with systems accessing (ADP and MedTrainer)
  2. Assist with Recruiting and Staffing initiatives
  1. Assist with Employee Orientation, and True Service
  2. Tracks COVID Vaccine/Exemptions/PPD/ company mandates
  3. Prepares materials for Manager 1:1 meetings
  4. Prepares All Staff Meeting materials
  5. Orders and stocks Human Resource Department supplies
  6. Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the Human Resources office.
  7. Other responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred.
  • General Business, Organizational Leadership
  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience in a related program area

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Computer literacy
  • Database Management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work well with others

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bilingual a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk or view computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
  • Ability to reach with hands or arms
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand or wrist motions for extended periods of time
  • Ability to effectively talk and listen to patients and co-workers
