Your Part in it:

As our Purchasing Associate, you will be responsible for creating and deriving production schedules to plan for production movement. Gathering the information from various resources to calculate depletion rates and estimate replenishment needs at regional warehouse hubs to service the needs of different retailers across the United States.

What the Job Entails:

  • Creates purchase orders from demand drawn production schedules
  • Reviews and processes purchase orders for items
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers to ensure order is fulfilled to specifications
  • Coordinates with Logistics for order ready dates, bookings, and revisions
  • Requests and approves supplier invoices
  • Reviews outstanding orders to ensure timely processing times
  • Communicates with Accounting to amend invoice and receiving discrepancies
  • Audits issued purchase orders for accuracy
  • Updates planning tools on weekly basis to ensure inventory is satisfactory for distribution centers
  • Analyzes and estimates depletion rates for items using sales history and projections
  • Assists Sales, Compliance, Logistics, and Distribution with any purchasing or supplier requests
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to accurately enter data in a timely manner
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis in Excel
