Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support loan officers in processing loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent service to our customers. This role is essential in facilitating a smooth loan process and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist loan officers in gathering and reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation.

- Communicate with customers to provide updates on loan status and answer inquiries.

- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies throughout the loan process.

- Maintain accurate records of loan applications and customer interactions.

- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the loan approval process.

- Prepare and organize loan files for review and approval.

- Assist in the preparation of loan documentation and loan closings.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a loan assistant role.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software (Jack Henry, Teslar).

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong customer service skills.
