You don’t need surgery experience—we’ll teach you. But you do need to come in ready to jump in and be part of a team.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of veterinary experienceComfortable with:Blood drawsPreparing/administering vaccines and injectionsIn-hospital diagnostics (SNAP tests, ear cytology, radiographs, lab work)Able to take accurate vitals and document thoroughly in EMRConfident (and kind) when talking through treatment plans with clientsAbout Sycamore Veterinary Hospital:

Being part of the Newtown community for over 40 years we're a trusted name in patient care, but also in client service. We pride ourselves in building trust with our clients through personalized treatment and education. We are currently a 3 doctor team who is growing our physical space and will need to grow our physical team. We believe and uphold Fear-Free practices as well as Gold Standard Medicine-- and we get there through support, education, and team work.

We have digital radiography and digital dental radiography, ultra-sound, and in house lab abilities on site. We also perform various surgeries and procedures on site, including OVH, Castration, Dental Prophy, Mass Removals, and Cystotomies.

We are open 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday with evening hours Monday-Thursday.
