Endorse Infinity is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Halifax, NS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, handling transactions accurately, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Bag, box, or wrap purchased items carefully.
• Process returns and exchanges according to company policies.
• Keep track of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Support other team members during busy periods or as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills for operating the POS system.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
