Cashier/Merchandiser in Hantsport, Nova Scotia at MacQuarries Pharmasave Group

Pharmasave in Hantsport a part of the MacQuarries Pharmasave Group, is currently recruiting for a part time to full time team member. The successful candidate will be able to get lots of variety as they will assist in cashier responsibilities and merchandising. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who wants to learn lots, work in a fantastic team environment and who can work a variety of shifts (majority being days, evenings and weekends).

You must have a great attitude and professional behavior and want to positively contribute to our team.

Some of the qualifications we looking for:

Superior Customer service experience – our customers are very important so let’s keep them happy

Excellent communication skills – you will have to talk a lot to many different people

A people person who always wants to exceed expectation – we are all about people and want everyone to be wowed!

Very Organized – there will be lots going on so you need to know where everything is

Strong attention to detail – working with numbers and cash so super important

Not afraid to ask questions – lots to learn so you need to be good with questions

Computer skills especially Microsoft applications – most everything we do involves computers

Takes initiative – if you see something that needs to be done or fixed you need to do it

Team player – we spend the majority of our time at work, it is much better if we are good to each other

Merchandising – it would be an advantage to be able to work the cash and merchandise

The successful candidates will work mostly at the front cash but will assist in merchandising duties as well. We are open 7 days a week, evenings, weekends and holidays so the shifts will vary. There will also be some lifting involved (up to 40lbs). Please note, there are also stairs in this location.
