Job Description
Seeking a Right-of-Way Agent with 5+ years of right-of-way, land acquisition, or midstream energy experience and an active Pennsylvania or New York Notary commission to support pipeline construction, operations, and integrity projects.
Responsibilities include land acquisition, easement and permit negotiations, title research, landowner relations, damage claim resolution, public meeting representation, and coordination with private, local, state, and federal agencies.
Candidates should have experience with title documentation, Microsoft Office, mail merge, Google Earth, and stakeholder management.
This is a field-based regional role requiring a valid driver's license, regular local travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Mileage is reimbursed, and overnight travel is expected to be minimal.
- Perform land acquisition, right-of-way, and permitting activities for pipeline construction and operational projects
- Assist with pipeline routing, project planning, cost estimates, and scheduling
- Research easement rights, title records, and ownership information
- Prepare title updates, land reports, and landowner claim documentation
- Negotiate easements, permits, licenses, and other real property agreements
- Secure approvals from private, local, state, and federal agencies
- Investigate, negotiate, and resolve damage claims
- Represent projects and stakeholders at public meetings
- Support integrity programs and operational land requests
- Work independently with minimal supervision
