This role focuses on leveraging deep retail and store operations expertise to support the development of advanced AI benchmarking systems for real-world commercial environments. You will contribute by designing and reviewing realistic scenarios that reflect customer-facing operations across supermarkets, pharmacies, department stores, and multi-branch retail networks. The position involves translating real operational knowledge into structured case studies covering sales, customer service, inventory management, compliance, and loss prevention. You will also evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, practicality, and alignment with real retail workflows. Working independently in a flexible remote setup, you will help define “gold standard” retail decision-making examples used to train and improve AI systems. • Design realistic retail trade and store operations scenarios in English or Nepali based on Indian and South Asian retail environments
• Develop structured evaluation frameworks for assessing customer service, operational decision-making, compliance, and sales scenarios
• Review AI-generated and human-created responses for accuracy, realism, customer handling quality, and operational feasibility
• Create benchmark solutions reflecting best practices in retail operations, pharmacy workflows, inventory control, and multi-branch coordination
• Ensure scenarios reflect real-world retail functions including sales supervision, fraud prevention, store management, and customer escalation handling
• Apply domain expertise to improve AI understanding of retail operations and consumer-facing workflows
• Work asynchronously with global teams to refine datasets, evaluation standards, and quality benchmarks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in retail operations, store management, pharmacy operations, customer experience, or loss prevention roles
• Native-level proficiency in Nepali and strong professional English communication skills
• Background in roles such as retail sales supervision, store operations, pharmacy operations, retail security, fraud investigation, or multi-store management
• Strong understanding of retail workflows, customer service processes, inventory management, and compliance procedures
• Practical knowledge of Indian or South Asian retail environments is highly desirable
• Ability to convert real-world operational experience into structured, realistic scenarios and case studies
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote contractor setup
