Job Details

Pay: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (3 days per week)

Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Hauppauge

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Glen Cove

Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM – Bethpage

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

Provide chairside dental assisting during procedures

Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with NYS regulations

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms

Assist with dental lab procedures

Maintain clinical supplies and dental equipment

Support patient scheduling and appointment confirmations

Communicate professionally with patients and caregivers

Qualifications

Required

New York State Dental Assistant Certification

Ability to take dental radiographs (X-rays)

Strong patient communication and customer service skills

Preferred

2+ years dental assistant experience

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
