Regional Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Director based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful partnerships that improve educational outcomes for students and educators nationwide.
As a customer-facing leader, you will develop strategic relationships with school districts, identify growth opportunities, and guide organizations toward impactful learning solutions.
You will combine consultative partnership building, sales strategy, and education expertise to expand access to high-quality professional learning programs.
Working closely with education leaders and internal teams, you will help shape initiatives that support more equitable and effective instruction.

Accountabilities:

The Regional Director will be responsible for expanding partnerships, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth by connecting educational organizations with solutions that address their instructional goals. This role requires a balance of business development, consultative selling, and relationship management.

  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with revenue objectives and priority customer segments.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new partnership opportunities using market insights, industry knowledge, and sales data.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Create customized engagement strategies based on district needs, goals, and organizational priorities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track account activity, and use data insights to improve sales performance.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team revenue targets.
  • Build trusted relationships with school districts, education leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic guidance to partners to help them achieve instructional and professional development objectives.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and strategic conversations that strengthen engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop deep knowledge of available programs and recommend solutions that best support customer needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through proactive communication, follow-up, and partnership support.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings.
  • Stay informed on education trends, research, and market developments to better support customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve programs, processes, and partnership strategies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused and results-driven professional with experience in education, consulting, business development, or customer partnerships. They should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing complex relationships and achieving measurable growth goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales, partnerships, education leadership, consulting, or large-scale project management.
  • Proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue goals, including experience managing significant sales pipelines.
  • Experience building relationships with school districts, educational organizations, or institutional clients preferred.
  • Strong understanding of education environments, particularly urban school systems and communities with historically underserved students.
  • Ability to develop strategic account plans and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong consultative selling abilities with a focus on long-term relationship building.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities independently in a remote setting.
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and improving educational outcomes for all learners.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Salesforce, Slack, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings, conferences, and events.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $100,000 – $125,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Incentive compensation plan with potential on-target earnings of approximately $200,000 – $250,000 USD.
