GPDQ is seeking experienced Practice Nurses to support one of our partner clinics in Canary Wharf, London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a modern, innovative primary care environment, delivering high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing excellent patient experiences and are confident delivering a broad range of nursing services within a fast-paced primary care setting.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide a wide range of nursing services including:

  • Cervical screening
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Travel health assessments and vaccinations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Venepuncture
  • Long-term condition management clinics, including:
    • Diabetes
    • Hypertension
    • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Health promotion and lifestyle advice
  • Supporting population health initiatives and screening programmes
  • Remote consultations and clinical reviews where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting quality improvement activities

You'll play an important role in delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care while contributing to an innovative model of primary healthcare.

What We're Looking ForEssential
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Previous experience working within Primary Care or General Practice
  • Cervical cytology trained and competent
  • Experience delivering immunisation programmes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied clinical workload
  • Understanding of QOF and Primary Care quality standards
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and infection prevention procedures
  • Confidence using digital systems and remote consultation methods
Desirable
  • Experience using SystmOne
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification
  • Travel Health Qualification
  • Spirometry experience
  • Teaching or mentorship qualification
