Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN

Job Summary

Sullivan County Memorial Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to provide direct patient care and support our nursing team. This role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output
• Assist with patient transfers, mobility, admissions, and discharges
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Support nursing staff with routine care and procedures
• Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Exposure to clinical and high-paced healthcare environments

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
