This role partners with senior leadership to solve complex business challenges and evaluate high-priority strategic opportunities.
You’ll apply structured problem-solving, financial analysis, market research, and strategic thinking to shape important business decisions.
The position spans enterprise-wide and business-specific initiatives, giving you exposure to a diverse portfolio of strategic priorities.
You’ll translate complex quantitative and qualitative insights into clear recommendations and executive-ready presentations.
The role requires strong ownership of workstreams, from defining analytical approaches through implementation planning and execution.
You’ll collaborate across functions and business units in a matrixed environment where influence and communication are critical.

- Lead structured, hypothesis-driven analyses to address strategic priorities, applying financial modeling, market research, qualitative insights, and business analysis.
- Develop market and competitive assessments to identify opportunities, risks, trends, and strategic implications.
- Build financial models, business cases, value analyses, and investment assessments to evaluate feasibility and support strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex information and analytical findings into concise, executive-ready presentations, recommendations, and leadership updates.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities by assessing business impact, feasibility, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
- Manage priority workstreams, including workplans, milestones, interdependencies, risks, and execution tracking.
- Facilitate collaboration across functions and business units to align stakeholders, develop strategies, and move initiatives from analysis to execution.
- Develop KPI and OKR frameworks and monitor progress, risks, and potential strategic impacts.
- Apply consulting frameworks and structured problem-solving techniques to ambiguous, complex business questions.
- Contribute to projects that support improved patient experiences, operational performance, and healthcare outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience at a leading management consulting firm, or 3+ years in a strategy, strategic operations, or comparable role requiring strong consulting capabilities and increasing levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and solve complex business problems using frameworks such as competitive analysis, strategy roadmaps, investment prioritization, and operating model design.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with experience interpreting complex operational and financial data and developing compelling business cases.
- Ability to translate strategic recommendations into practical plans and support cross-functional execution through influence, coordination, and effective process management.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling presentations and leadership deliverables.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and within a matrixed organization.
- Ability to work during Eastern or Central Time business hours.
- Prior experience in healthcare services or care delivery is preferred.
- Experience working across multiple business units or in a complex matrixed environment is an advantage.
- Genuine commitment to improving patient experiences and outcomes.
- Salary range: $86,300–$118,700 per year, with individual compensation based on factors such as location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
- Eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
- Fully remote position across the United States.
- Washington, DC metro area candidates are preferred, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement involving 1–3 days per week in an Arlington, VA office.
