At CMLS Financial, our Regional Managers are the bridge between a broker’s vision and a funded deal. We are looking for a proactive growth-driver for the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA). You are someone who is as comfortable structuring a complex file with a broker as they are analyzing regional market trends. This is a field-heavy, relationship-oriented role for a professional who is motivated to scale their career and our market share alongside a premier national lender.
Where You’ll Make An Impact:
- Cultivate High-Value Partnerships: Build and maintain sustainable relationships with top-performing mortgage brokers in the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA) using a proactive, consultative approach.
- Navigate the 'Lending Box': Provide expert guidance on CMLS products and credit policies, helping brokers understand how to best position their deals for approval and efficiency.
- Execute Field Operations: Utilize your mobility to provide on-site support, training, and troubleshooting, ensuring a consistent face-to-face presence within your broker network.
- Facilitate Deal Flow: Monitor the lifecycle of applications in your pipeline, working collaboratively with internal underwriting and risk teams to ensure a frictionless experience.
- Structure Complex Files: Partner with brokers to break down and organize difficult residential applications, ensuring they meet credit standards before they reach the underwriting desk.
- Drive Regional Volume: Take full ownership of your territory’s funding targets, focusing on consistent growth and high-quality originations.
What We Value:
- A strong background in residential mortgage underwriting or credit analysis.
- You aren't satisfied with maintaining the status quo; you are driven to proactively capture market share and scale your territory.
- You are a team player who understands that our success is built on the partnership between sales, underwriting, and risk.
- You bring a robust, existing network within the Vancouver Island broker community and can hit the ground running on day one.
- You value relationships over transactions, focusing on being a trusted advisor to your broker partners.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Possession of a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license will be considered an asset.
