Job Description
Phoenix, AZ – RRA Capital is a real estate credit platform focused on structured lending and opportunistic investments, powered by a lean, high-performing team with direct access to decision-makers.
We're building out the Finance and Fund Accounting team at RRA Capital and are looking for someone ready to own fund-level cash management, leverage facility support, and liquidity reporting across multiple investment vehicles - helping to shape how our treasury function runs as the platform grows.
YOU WILL BE
- moving real money on real deadlines, not reconciling it after the fact
- the direct point of contact for our banks, custodians, and lenders
- part of a small, high-performing team where your work directly impacts outcomes
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
- Manage daily cash across multiple funds - transfers, wires, and journal entries
- Prepare and process capital calls, distributions, and management fee payments
- Own day-to-day bank and custodian relationships for wires, transfers, and account setup
- Track borrowing base availability and support drawdowns, repayments, and lender reporting under fund credit facilities
- Reconcile bank activity to fund accounting records - including loan-level activity from Servicing - and resolve variances fast
- Build and maintain cash flow forecasts and liquidity reporting that inform investment and financing decisions
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close with cash reconciliations, schedules, and audit documentation
- Find and fix what's inefficient in treasury operations - process, controls, and reporting tools
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional Experience: 1–3+ years in treasury, fund accounting, or financial services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; experience with accounting or treasury platforms preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong reconciliation and documentation skills; ability to spot and resolve variances quickly.
- Analytical Ability: Comfort with building and maintaining cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
- Team Orientation: Ability to collaborate with Fund Accounting, Finance, and Servicing teams.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience with private equity, real estate investment funds, or private credit structures.
- Location: Based in Phoenix, AZ, or relocating
