The Quality Technician is responsible for final inspection of work before it leaves the plant. This job may include but is not limited to running hardness testers, checking out customers, operating the computer system, sandblasting, and handling customer materials. It is pertinent that the applicant is able to follow procedures and that he/she is consistent, accurate, and detail oriented. Training provided for appropriate candidates.

- Flexible schedule will be required with potential of any shift: days, nights and weekends
- Able to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision

- Intermediate level of computer skills for using order tracking software
- Capable of reading, comprehending and passing exams in heat treating coursework
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand for 8+ hours
- Able and willing to work in hot and cold environments
- Wears required PPE, including steel-toes boots and safety glasses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and/or basic understanding of heat treating principles
- Experience in tooling or manufacturing industries
- Knowledge in the use of metallurgical testing equipment
Position entry-level hourly pay; Pay rate dependent on applicant skill set.
