Job Description
The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for a part-time Golf Cart Attendant in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department at the City of Greer’s golf course.
Responsibilities:
· Prepares golf carts for daily use by customers
· Greets customers and assists with loading and unloading equipment on carts
· Cleans and washes carts after each use
· Picks up golf balls on driving range, cleans balls, and prepares for re-use
· Repairs divots on the course as needed
· Maintains cleanliness of putting green
· Cleans paths, sidewalks, parking lots, and exterior of clubhouse
· Secures building and carts each night
· Provides relative information regarding golf course conditions, local rules, expected playing time, golf course safety, emergency procedures, golf course etiquette, and other golf related issues
· Verifies receipts of players
· Assists players as necessary with carts, scorecards, and rules of play
· Maintains clean and orderly appearance of the starter's area at all times
· Provides emergency assistance to golfers as necessary
· Observes and coordinates pace of play
Hours: Consists of morning shifts (7am - noon) and evening shifts (3pm - 9pm), totaling approximately 25 hours per week.
Salary: Minimum $16.00 hourly
