Position Title: Maintenance Engineer

General Description
- Responsible for many different functions including performing root cause analysis of issues, troubleshoot problems, maintenance and repair of various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system.
- Assist in the development of a robust and efficient manufacturing systems.
- Train and Support the entry level and maintenance technicians.
- Attention to detail and clear understanding of the machines maintenance
Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily activities of the maintenance organization meet production needs.
- maintaining PM program on plant machinery and equipment
- Provide planning and direction for maintenance
- Support the development and implementation of new product manufacturing processes.
- Establish, monitor and improve maintenance, troubleshooting to machine problems, including auxiliary equipment.
- Foster team environment
- Participate in improvement activities
- Train and mentor maintenance technician staff.
- Works with cross functional teams to develop the best standards for quality, process flow, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on maintenance related issues.
- Responsible for time and attendance of employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must maintain a positive and supportive attitude conducive to SL’s work environment
Job Requirements
Work Experience
- Ability to interact well with other Departments
- Strong maintenance knowledge
- Must possess good interpersonal skills
- Excellent attendance required
- Ability to stand, bend and walk for periods of hours
- Must be available for weekend work when necessary
- Excellent problem solving and maintenance skills.
- Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer skills.
- Must be available for weekend work when necessary
- Must have excellent communication skills maintenance team members.
