Unarmed Security Officer (Salisbury Overnight) in Salisbury, North Carolina at North State Security Group LLC

North State Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Salisbury, NC. The selected candidate is expected to work the following schedule:

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

The selected candidate will also be expected to fill in when needed during the week for call outs and vacancies. Additional assignments may occur with short notice and include evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client property and observe client activities to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor individuals admitted to client site and stay attentive and responsive to surroundings at all times
- Perform routine patrols
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or activities that may impact safety or operations
- Respond appropriately to altercations or other incidents
- Obtain statements, document incidents, and complete detailed reports accurately and professionally
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate sound judgment and reliability
- Ability to assist with additional shifts if needed

Qualifications:
- Prior security experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must remain alert and proactive at all times, including during overnight hours
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
