The Creative Director will lead the development of performance-focused creative strategies designed to drive measurable business results across paid media channels.
This role combines creative leadership, direct-response expertise, client partnership, and performance marketing to develop scalable creative programs.
You will work closely with media buying, production, and leadership teams to turn business objectives and audience insights into compelling creative concepts.
The position spans platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, X, native advertising, and other performance channels.
You will guide rapid experimentation, leveraging performance data and AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, production, testing, and iteration.
As a client-facing creative leader, you will present strategic recommendations, influence creative direction, and connect creative decisions to measurable outcomes.

- Own the creative relationship with assigned clients, acting as the primary creative partner from strategy and ideation through execution and optimization.
- Translate client business objectives, audience needs, and media goals into clear, scalable, performance-driven creative strategies.
- Develop creative concepts, angles, hooks, messaging frameworks, and storytelling approaches designed for rapid testing and iteration.
- Lead ideation using audience insights, platform trends, brand knowledge, performance data, and emerging creative practices.
- Present creative concepts, performance insights, strategic recommendations, and optimization opportunities to clients and internal leadership.
- Oversee creative development across paid social, display, video, native, shopping, search, and other performance media formats.
- Partner with media buying teams to align creative strategy with media plans, testing frameworks, campaign objectives, and performance insights.
- Use AI tools to accelerate creative ideation, scripting, asset development, and initial concepts while maintaining brand safety, quality, and strategic consistency.
- Create or oversee briefs, scripts, shot lists, storyboards, and other creative direction materials for production teams.
- Guide rapid creative iteration, including cutdowns, re-edits, new hooks, static variations, alternate formats, and other testing assets.
- Monitor and evaluate creative performance, connecting creative decisions and experimentation to measurable campaign and business outcomes.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in design, storytelling, advertising, AI, and performance media, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop creative team members while promoting a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Maintain brand standards while identifying opportunities to challenge conventions and improve creative effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong understanding of paid media and creative performance.
- 5+ years of direct-response copywriting experience.
- Proven experience leading creative teams and presenting strategic recommendations to senior-level clients.
- Strong knowledge of Meta and Google advertising platforms, creative testing methodologies, and performance analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative strategies based on audience insights, campaign data, business objectives, and platform-specific considerations.
- Proficiency with modern AI tools for creative development, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and generative video platforms including Veo 3 or comparable solutions.
- Strong understanding of how AI can accelerate creative workflows while maintaining human oversight, brand safety, and creative quality.
- Design experience is a plus, including familiarity with tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to evaluate and elevate visual creative.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple creative initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

- Base salary of $95,000–$125,000, plus bonus opportunities.
