Medical Management - IME Scheduler

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Medical Management - IME Scheduler based in United States.

This full-time role supports a medical management team by coordinating Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and related appointments.
You’ll manage cases from assignment through successful scheduling, ensuring each appointment is handled accurately and efficiently.
The position requires frequent communication with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders.
You’ll balance multiple cases and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to smooth, timely healthcare administration and case coordination.
You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where reliability, ownership, and professional communication are essential.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a starting rate of $17 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate and schedule Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and related appointments, ensuring cases progress efficiently from assignment through confirmed scheduling.

  • Communicate professionally and promptly with relevant individuals to coordinate appointment details, resolve scheduling issues, and provide necessary follow-up.

  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines, competing requests, and time-sensitive scheduling requirements.

  • Maintain accurate case information, appointment details, and documentation throughout the scheduling process.

  • Follow up consistently on outstanding items and take ownership of assigned cases through successful resolution.

  • Identify and resolve scheduling or administrative issues while escalating matters when appropriate.

  • Support the broader medical management team by maintaining reliable, organized, and high-quality scheduling operations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling, healthcare administration, insurance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling appointment information and case-related documentation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software, scheduling platforms, and internal systems.

  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.

  • Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and task-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
