Job Title: Material Handler/Warehouse Associate

Role Summary: The Material Handler/Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, staging, and distributing materials in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. Duties typically include loading and unloading trucks, operating material‑handling equipment (such as forklifts, roll clamp trucks or pallet jacks), maintaining inventory accuracy, and following all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately; verify counts and condition against packing lists, or purchase orders.
• Accurately document receipts and shipments in the company’s warehouse tracking system.
• Prepare outbound orders, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging for shipment according to customer and carrier due dates/requirements.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment daily.
• Assist with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager, as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
Safety Policies and Practices:
• Follow all Plant rules, Processes, and Hygiene procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
• All employees are required to wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes while in the manufacturing area. Sound protection is required in designated areas.
• Keep work area clean and organized: remove scrap, sweep, and maintain clear walkways in accordance with housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Roll clamp, forklift and pallet jack experience or certification preferred; company may provide training and certification.
• Previous warehouse experience in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling loads up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of computers.
Schedule:
• Full time position; 2:00pm – 10pm (2nd Shift).
• 24/7 production
• Overtime and weekends based on production needs.
Salary: $22.00-$25.00hour base + shift differential
