League Acquisition Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a League Acquisition Coordinator based in the United States.

This role focuses on growing league and tournament business across a large entertainment network.
You’ll work closely with local center leaders and regional teams to recruit, retain, and develop leagues and tournament opportunities.
The position combines relationship management, business development, market awareness, and revenue analysis.
You’ll identify opportunities created by competitor activity, center changes, and evolving market conditions.
Your work will directly contribute to league participation, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial, with significant autonomy to introduce new ideas and strategies.
The role is remote for the West Coast and includes travel for meetings, recruitment activities, and tournament support.

Accountabilities
  • Partner directly with center League Champions, General Managers, District Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents to develop, retain, and recruit leagues and tournaments.
  • Identify opportunities to grow league participation, including available days, acquisition opportunities, competitor disruptions, center closures, and market changes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for league acquisitions and tournament opportunities, supporting centers and external organizations to ensure a positive experience.
  • Develop relationships with league officers, bowlers, tournament organizers, and other relevant stakeholders to support recruitment and retention.
  • Participate in league officer meetings, individual league meetings, department calls, district meetings, and regional meetings as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the Leagues Department to implement new strategies, league structures, tournament formats, and growth initiatives across centers.
  • Support seasonal outreach initiatives, including Fall, mid-season, and Summer campaigns designed to recruit and engage bowlers and leagues.
  • Visit leagues across the organization to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and support business development efforts.
  • Monitor league availability and ensure league information is accurate and up to date within relevant management systems.
  • Review and audit revenue reports, league statements, tournament accounts, and other financial data to identify discrepancies and opportunities.
  • Maintain acquisition tracking and complete required weekly and monthly reporting to support financial and operational visibility.
  • Work with center and regional leadership to identify gaps in league revenue, promote existing programs, and develop opportunities for incremental revenue.
  • Research competition and identify innovative approaches to expand league and tournament business.
  • Travel as needed for in-person meetings, outside recruitment activities, league visits, and tournament support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of related professional experience, ideally involving sales, business development, customer engagement, entertainment, sports, recreation, or league/tournament operations.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, vendors, center teams, and external organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and turn relationships and market insights into business growth.
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to review revenue information, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, reporting requirements, meetings, and acquisition initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong integrity, professionalism, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with distributed teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for league visits, meetings, recruitment activities, and tournament support.
